THE CONCEPT
Twice a year, between 9am and 10.30am, Martine Leherpeur Conseil shares its views and opinions on the season’s fashions and trends.

Each session looks at a different theme, chosen by MLC as one of the season’s most significant trends. A trend that can be felt in the air; a trend seen in magazines, on the street and on runways. A trend that works its way into consumers’ minds and wardrobes.

A "macro" trend that you need to identify and understand to then build it into your collections and marketing.

INFORMATION ON 2 LEVELS
SOCIO-CONSUMER
Cracking the codes: understanding the prevailing mood and its influences: icons, music, art and culture, films, TV, consumer views and reactions (vox pops and interviews/profiles), reports on street fashion, behind the scenes online, interviews with professionals, etc.

CREATIVE
An analysis of how this trend is reflected in the way people dress. How it influences colours, materials, shapes, outfits and key products.

POWER W, The new attributes of power women

Wonder Ladies
> An aspirational portrait vs. a real portrait of this new woman
Who are the new women of power? What are their strengths? How are they handling crisis?

Power Dressing
> A considered analysis of how power women dress, taking in the latest runway shows and styles seen in magazines, on the street and online.
How is this trend reflected in her wardrobe? What defines a power woman’s style?
